A food manufacturer wanted to gain access to benefits offered by Wonderware System Platform, which if implemented correctly, provides a powerful solution with the ability to scale up, and making available a growing list of compatible products. The company teamed up with a group of professionals, fully certified with Wonderware and with over ten years of experience, who are now part of Verus.
Previously using Wonderware’s InTouch platform, our client hoped with the migration to gain access to increased functionality, object-oriented programming and development efficiencies. Our team’s role included developing the Archesta Galaxy, standard templates and objects, and standard operating procedures for use internally as well as by the many OEMs that provide equipment. We also developed import tools with SQL Server Integration Services to speed the development process.
The standards developed are being used for all new Wonderware development, as well as a gradual migration of existing functionality.
